I am 5′5″ and I weigh 124. I want to go down to around 110. I signed up at the Gym to go 3 times a week. Im thinking of running the other days. What would be good to lose some fat on my stomach, its not much at all, but I know before I start and try to get abs I need to lose the fat. I also want to tone my butt, and thighs. What are good ways of doing that?

I am going in for an early 4d ultrasound to detect gender and see how baby is growing. I will be 19 weeks on monday and I am going sometime that week. I have lost ALOT of weight. over 12 lbs and I only weigh about 100 lbs now. is this going to effect how well the pictures look on screen since I dont yet have a belly? only a tiny baby bump… when I lay down, my tummy almost goes flat. when im standing up, you can see my baby bump pretty good. but I am worried I will not get any good pics out of it or see the gender since I am so small…
Not really. You didn’t say how tall you were though. I don’t think it will change how the picture will turn out. But be warned 19 weeks is not a good time for a 4D ultrasound. 24-30 weeks is generally considered ideal. Before 24 weeks most babies don’t have enough fat on their faces to look really cute.
When I had my first 3D/ 4D ultrasound it was at 18 weeks. I was high risk so I had regular ultrasounds all the time. And my doctor liked to do a little 3d and 4d at the end of appointments just for fun. I weighed about 115 pounds at the time ( I am 5′4). And the picture though clear, it wasn’t that attractive of my daughter at that point. By 24 weeks the pictures were amazing.
She`s me. Lately my friends are talking about weight and their weights are about 10-30 lbs. less than mine. It kinda makes me discouraged because i`m going on a swimming trip soon and i need to shed something in 1 week. I weigh between 110-117 and i`m 5′4. Is that good?

Hi i’m 12, 112 lbs., and 4′11. my BMI is 22.6, and it claims im "over-weight". Im not really fat looking, but i have wide hips and a very small muffin top (it’s not too noticable). anyways, i want too lose a few pounds , and fast. i take 2 dance classes, but thats pretty much all the exercise i get. i have a treadmill, but ide rather walk on it than run… so how can i lose a few pound in a week or 2? thanks

don’t listen to the idiots talking about weight loss supplements. they won’t work.

i’ve been doing dance, like you, and another thing i do is that i swim. swimming is really fun and it’s a great exercise. (:
if you are finding yourself eating more than you should (snacking a lot, eating a lot at dinner, etc), it might not be because your body is lacking food that makes you hungry. most of the time, it is because your body needs water/liquids. the average amount you should drink a day is 64 oz (about four 16 oz bottles of water a day). remember to stay away from junk food and fast food. soda is not something you should have all the time—it is just empty calories and will add more fat. don’t listen to the people who say "oh, well why don’t you drink diet soda? it’s much better", because it isn’t most of the time, it’s just as bad.
also try to stay away from fried foods–try baked foods instead.
you’ve probably heard this a million times before, but, eat lots of fruits and veggies. they provide needed nutrients and are really healthy for you.
never EVER skip meals. your body will think it is being starved, and will take in more calories and fat the next time you eat. ALWAYS eat breakfast! try oatmeal or wheat bread (complex carbs), because they will give you more energy throughout the day.
for exercising, try going to a gym or lifting weights at home. this will increase your muscle mass, which will help increase your metabolic rate/metabolism. running helps your overall appearance, so you could start out just running 1/4-1/2 a mile a day, then work your way up from there. (:

There are these weight loss pills my friend takes that works really well, they claim to make you able to lose up to 12 lbs in a week, but he’s lost around 7. You’re supposed to take them for a week, then take a week break, or you could lose "a dangerous amount of weight". You’re supposed to take 6 of them, two times a day. What would happen if he were to take like twice as many, and not take a week break in between? Whats so dangerous about losing that much weight?
Hi. You should know that anything drastic or extreme is not good. That’s just common sense.
I don’t know what pills you are talking about, but I would be very very cautious about what you wrote because I immediately thought about 2 things:
1) What these powerful chemicals do to the body (which you will probably discover much later – bad surprise)
2) What will happen to your friend after stopping the pills (because the lifestyle is the same so all the weight and then some more will be put back on).
I highly recommend you do everything the natural (the hard) way without damaging your body and living a healthy life (without bad surprises).

My friend Dave the Raw Food Trucker tells his story of how he came from the brink of death to heal himself of several diseases including colon cancer, type II diabetes & kidney disease, all via the consumption of raw foods. This week, Dave talks about how his latest colonic must have *really* gotten his colon clean, as it literally transformed his body & his face overnight. He lost almost 2 inches from his waist. His face got thinner, and literally began to glow so much that literally about 30 people he knows all came up to him separately to tell him that he looked particularity great, that he looked thinner, that he looked more toned and/or something about him looked “different.”
SO…needless to say, Dave recommends colonics! Yeah, there may be those who think it has no benefit or that it is bad for you, but that hasn’t been the experience of people like Dave. They can be especially helpful during a period of deep cleansing and/or when you are on an extended juice feast or fast. For those who say it is “unnatural,” is going to the dentist natural?
So it’s now official…Dave has crossed the 200 pound threshold and has lost 203 pounds since he began this journey about one and a half years ago! Dave says he feels like he’s living on the life force! Just 18 short months ago he was literally dying, and now he feels better than ever!
Dave says that all the radical changes in his health and his weight started to happen when he took out all the animal products like meat, cheese and dairy…and how he personally believes that there IS no ‘healthy’ version of animal products (other than if you’ve been lost in a forest for a few months and are very hungry, of course!)
So back to colonics…instead of trying to decide who to listen to, regarding their possible benefits or drawbacks, why not just go out and find yourself a qualified colon therapist and then let your own body be the judge? Dave suggests that you simply listen to your body, and find what works for you!
